Day 56: Writing Reflections
A dose of inspiration to start the day on a positive note, calm your mind and clarify your thoughts...
How are you?
Welcome to Day 56 of Writing Reflections. I hope you are well and have found taking a moment to write useful so far.
The preamble
Writing Reflections is a daily writing challenge. The aim is to help you clarify your thoughts and shine a little ray of positivity on the day amidst all the bad news.
I’ll curate a selection of inspirational quotes
Each morning at 7am I’ll share one here
Set a timer for one minute (or however long you like!)
Write whatever comes into your head: write about the quote, your thoughts, plans for the day, anything!
The point is not to worry about it, the point is to write. If it’s one word, one hundred, or one thousand, it doesn’t matter.
Day 56: Writing Reflections
‘When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.’
- Lao Tzu
Prompt below, use this is you’d like something to get your writing started (or feel free to do your own thing if you like):
I might become…
Set your timer… go!
Write a little more positivity into the day
See you back here, same time tomorrow. For now, stay safe and healthy and I’ll look forward to seeing you – in person – on the other side.
Your words matter,
Laura
P.S. Enjoyed the daily quote and writing prompt? Why not share with a friend, family member or colleague who might appreciate a dose of daily positivity?
